Hristic leaving Yellow School

Yellow School Principal Filip Hristic announced today that he will not be back next year. Hristic has accepted a position as principal of Creative Science School in Portland beginning next school year. Hristic engaged Yellow School staff, parents and students in developing the small school program, which has seen impressive academic progress over the last four years. Filip was introduced to the staff at Creative Science School yesterday. Friday morning he notified Yellow School staff and students and mailed a letter to Yellow School parents.

The district begins advertising for the Yellow School Principal position today. Superintendent Paula Radich will meet with Yellow School staff, parents and students next week to discuss the hiring process, timeline and the school’s involvement in the process.
