Musicians qualifiy for state championships
Talented NHS musicians keep the recognition rolling in! The Symphonic Choir qualified for state championship (May 9-11 at George Fox University.)
Congrats are due to Marissa Beam (saxophone), Angel Nunez (saxophone), Jacob Consenz (cello) and Angelica Urciel (cello) who qualified for state solo competition on May 4th at Lewis and Clark College. Also completing among the 1,300 competitors from Oregon high schools were were Garrett Gibbs on bassoon (4th place), Thomas Gaumer on trombone (5th place) and Alexis Cartales on clarinet (5th place.)
