New, familiar faces join Coaching Staff

NHS Athletics is pleased to introduce several returners as well as a few new faces to the Coaching Staff at NHS for the 2011-2012 Winter Sports Season.

Mike Doherty joins the Boys Basketball program with many years of experience in Oregon High School Basketball.  He has taken his teams to numerous State Tournament appearances over his long career and is looking forward to doing the same for our Tigers.  Mike has already had some of the basketball boys out there working hard to get ready for this year's season.
 

Eric Carlson will head up the Freshman Boys Basketball team.  Best known for his many years at the helm of the NHS Football program, Eric has returned this year to help the Freshman boys get a good start to their athletic careers here at NHS. 

Lauren O'Halloran joins the Girls Basketball program as the Freshman Girls coach.  Lauren is a 2008 NHS graduate and has been volunteering with the Girls program for the past 3 summers. 

Scott Klug returns as the Vasity Baseball coach after an 8 year absence.  Scott led the Tigers to 2 State Playoff Championship games, winning the State Title in 2003. 

Hugh Anderson is also returning to the Baseball coaching staff as the Freshman coach.  Hugh has worked with the baseball program for many years as his sons played through their high school years.

We are excited about our additions to the Coaching Staff and what they will bring to our athletes!  Good luck to all our coaches!
