New finals schedule for last day of school

Newberg-Dundee Police searched the high school campus this morning in response to a bomb threat made in a 911 call at 9:30 am. While police could not immediately determine whether or not it was a credible threat, we take school safety very seriously. Students and staff were evacuated to the football field so police could sweep the building. Surrounding schools were in lock out. Students and staff returned to their classrooms at approximately 10:45 am.

Here is what we know about the bomb threat:

  • The NHS bomb threat to 911 was made from the Newberg High School campus.
  • Caller’s voice described as a young male
  •  A second call was made during the evacuation from the high school campus
