NHS to offer School Day SAT Test on October 16
Newberg High School will once again offer 12th grade students the opportunity to take the School Day SAT test, scheduled for Wednesday, October 16th.
The SAT test opens doors for students to achieve their full potential ready for college and careers.
Why 12th grade students should register for the School Day SAT?

Save money! The fee for the School Day SAT is only $50, while a national Saturday test costs $51.

Save Time! Take the SAT without giving up a Saturday. October 16th is PSAT, ReadiStep, and ASVAB testing at the high school, so seniors can use this day to take the SAT without missing any classes.

Support! Included in the $50 fee, all registered students receive access to the Official SAT Online Course for a calendar year (regularly valued of $69.95), in additional to the free practice tools available at http://sat.collegeboard.org/practice.

How can 12th grade students register for the School Day SAT?

The School Day SAT is offered only to Newberg High School 12th grade students

Seniors receive a Registration Code from their small school counselor for the NHS School Day SAT. Counselors will support student’s on-line registration through Advisory. Registration deadline is Wednesday, October 2nd. Payment is not due at time of registration.

Students registering using this Registration Code will be assessed a $50 fee, payable to the NHS bookkeeper. If students have not paid the fee by the October 2nd registration deadline the fee will be changed to a $50 fine on the student’s account. Limited number of fee reductions and fee waivers are available to qualifying students. Students must see their small school counselor to request a fee reduction or waiver.
