NHS Offering Basic Nursing Assistant Program

NHS is offering the BNA (Basic Nursing Assistant) program again in the spring semester. The program consists of 80 hours of class time (1st and 2nd periods), and 75 hours of clinical time with patients (6 - 9 am, April 29th to June 3rd). Successful completion of the program qualifies you for the state certification test. With a nurse assistant certificate, you can get full-time or part-time employment at many healthcare facilities, and it is a great way to prepare you for other medical careers such as physician or registered nurse.

Application deadline for this program is Monday, December 10th. You can pick up an application and learn more about the program from Ms. Linnertz in the Counseling Center.
