NHS staff and students give in a big way

WOW- what an amazing response from staff and kids! Today was awesome. Here are our totals:

• We are able to provide food baskets for 46 NHS families that range from 4-10 family members!
• Students and staff brought in a total of 1,714 food items 
• We had 39 turkeys or hams
• $470.00 dollars donated from Advisory kids, parents, and staff!!!!!
• All of the Giving Tree tags were taken, and we have 75 gifts waiting to go home to our NHS students.

And now what you've been waiting for........................our Advisory winner is.............

• The runner up, coming in at 2nd place, with 88 food items and a ham and turkey is Frank Baumholtz's Advisory
• In first place, with 101 items, $40 in gift cards, and a ham and turkey is Ashley Lindsay's Advisory!  Pizza will be delivered at the beginning of Advisory.

Those that came in close were:

• Carlson and Halstead with a combined 83 items and $40 in cash
• Atkinson with 83 items and $50 in cash

THANK YOU to everyone who chipped in to help.  Please thank your kids for doing such a great thing for our families and community.  Our kids really stepped up to the plate.  And thank you to Advisory teachers who really rallied their kids to help out in a small or big way.
