Sixteen named to All-State Music Honors

Sixteen NHS students were accepted to the Oregon Music Education Association All-State Honor groups that will rehearse and perform in Eugene on January 16-19, 2014. 

"This is a huge honor and is the largest group of students accepted from Newberg in several years," said band director Joel Tanner. 
Tanner added that this represents countless hours of practice by the students, coaching and recording by music teachers at all levels and the commitment of the community to the performing arts.
