Break a leg to the cast and crew of "While the Lights Were Out" which open this Thursday.  The show will run February 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, & 18.  All performances begin at 7:00pm in the Drea Ferguson Auditorium.  Tickets are $6 for students and $8 for students.  Tickets can be purchased at the door, or pre-ordered by calling 503-554-5305.

Congratulations to the NHS Cheerleaders on winning their final competition before the State Championship Competition this weekend!  They will head to the Veterans Memorial Coliseum this Saturday, Feb 11th where they will look to defend their 4 consecutive State Championships.  They are scheduled to perform at 5:10pm.  Good luck!

Good luck to the NHS Swim Teams as they will compete in the TRL District Swim Meet this Friday and Saturday at Mt Hood Community College.

Congratulations to NHS Senior Gwen Thomas on qualifying for Nationals in the Scholastic Writing competition after winning Gold Key for her Poetry piece 'Red African Soil, Home, Little Things.'  She also received Silver Key and Honorable Mention awards for four other submissions.
