Students claim "King of the Hill" title

The King of the Hill in the NHS Engineering Design competition has been crowned in what Yellow School physics teacher Trish Beckius called “probably the best year of competition in my 15 years of teaching physics.”

Nick Auld, Silver School, and Matt Freeman, Yellow School, earned bragging rights by besting 33 other teams in the competition. Auld and Freemen won the physics period 2 King of the Hill competition with Ian Halstead, Blue School, coming in second.

Kory Favara, Yellow School and Spencer McMaster, Silver School won the period 3 competition. Gyandson Martins, an exchange student enrolled in Silver School, placed second.
