Spring Sports Registration Dates:

(Student athletes must be cleared to practice/tryout)

Office Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm. Closed 10:00am.-11:00am.
All student athletes will need to report to the Athletic/Bookkeeping Office before February 27, 2012.
• Permission/Insurance Form: Every student-athlete must have a current insurance form on file prior to the first day of practice. Only one student-athlete is allowed on each form. This only needs to be done once per year. This form also contains parents and student-athletes permission to participate as well as an understanding of the training rules and code of conduct. No student-athlete will be allowed to participate without a current permission/insurance form. If a student-athlete needs insurance coverage, information is available in the Bookkeeping/Athletic Secretary office at the high school.
• Physical: Every student-athlete must have a current, State of Oregon physical form on file prior to the first day of practice. . Physical exams are good for two years. No student-athlete will be allowed to participate without a current physical. The athletic office keeps physical exams on file on all past student-athletes. Incoming freshmen will need to bring copies of their physicals with them.
• $160 Participation Fee: 2011-2012 participation fee is $160 per sport. Student-athletes who participate in two or more sports during the year pay a maximum fee of $320. Families with more than one student-athlete pay a maximum of $480. If fees are not paid or if arrangements are not made to clear payment, the student-athlete will not be allowed to compete. • ACADEMIC CHECK: To maintain eligibility, a student-athlete must have passed all courses the preceding semester AND must meet OSAA minimum credit requirements.
1. Student-athletes must be currently enrolled in a minimum of five of the eight courses offered at NHS.
2. Must pass all classes previous semester.
3. Must have achieved a minimum GPA of 2.O previous term.
