Track team district champs

The me's track team earned two league championships as they won the District Championship Friday at Hare Field. In addition to the league championship hardware, they were awarded their trophy as 2012 Dual Meet Champions!

But wait there is more… Head Coach Brandon Ramey was named Boys Coach of the Year (to add to his girls coach of the year from 2011.) The team was led by Darnell Adams (1st in the long jump, 1st in the triple jump), Cody Danielson (1st in the Javelin with the state’s best mark of 210’ 4”) and Jacob Petrie (2nd in the high hurdles). The 4 x 400 relay of Adams, Bryce Schneider, Tyler Oathes and Caleb Johnstone qualified for the State Meet this coming weekend as did Corey Burt (2nd in the discus) and Trevor Danielson (2nd in the javelin). Kudos to Talli Kokela (2nd in the 3,000 meter run) and MckKailae Wolfe (2nd in the 800) who also qualified.
