Wind Ensemble qualifies for state

Congratulations to the NHS Wind Ensemble for qualifying (again) for state competition at the Lakeridge Music Festival on Tuesday.. Band Director Joel Tanner and the small brass ensemble dashed back to Newberg to perform for the Newberg School Board. Thomas Gaumer, Robert Bohall and Liam Hathaway performed "Triangles," a piece written for tuba, trombone and french horn by the Pentagon Brass Quintet that plays for the President.
