The Newberg School Board selected two firms to interview for executive/superintendent search services. The school board will meet between between 2:00 and 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 27, 2012 in the Newberg School District Office, to interview superintendent search firms Oregon School Boards Association and Window to Leadership, LLC.

The executive/superintendent search firm will be selected by the following considerations, subject to Newberg School Board discretion:

• base fee for services plus cost of additional/optional services
• experience with districts of similar demographics
• placement history, success
• proposed search process and timeline

Additional factors that may be considered include:

• motivation
• professional image
• philosophy of service
• flexibility
• communication with a diverse community and clientele
