The Newberg School Board is seeking applications from interested persons to fill the unexpired term for Zone 1 through June 30, 2013. Director Deona Twenge resigned her position when her family moved out of the school district.

Any resident of the district that is a registered voter, has lived in the district for one year and lives within Zone 1 may be considered for appointment to this position.

Zone 1 is roughly bound by Chehalem Creek on the west, Sunnycrest Road on the north, Harvey Creek to Fairview Drive and NE Powell hill Road to the West. The zone includes the City of Dundee and the area between Newberg and Dundee. A map is online
