The Newberg School Board is seeking candidates to fill 2 vacant positions, Zone 2,  representing the Northwest Newberg/Dundee area and Zone 3, representing the Northeast Newberg area. Interested persons must be registered voters and reside in the respective zone. If there are no qualified candidates from the respective zones, the board will consider applications from within other zones in the District.  The board will appoint a citizen for each vacant zone to fulfill the unexpired term through June 30, 2023.

The Newberg School District is governed by a seven-member board of directors. All board members are volunteers and received no compensation. Interested persons should send a letter of interest to Shanna Andres at Newberg School District Office, 714 E. 6th St, Newberg, OR 97132 or by email to andress@newberg.k12.or.us. An application will be sent to interested parties to be completed and returned to Newberg School District by July 7th, 2022.
