COLA virtual program enrolling for 2014-15
Join teacher Sue Henry for coffee and treats to learn about the Chehalem Online Learning Alliance (COLA), a new tuition-free virtual program for students in grades K-8.
COLA is a tuition free program for grades K–8 that blends online and in-person learning with community-based enrichment. Students will learn at his/her own pace, using a curriculum selected by parents from nationally recognized curriculum providers including Calvert, Edgenuity, Compass Learning and others.
COLA can help you give your child a great education by providing:
• Flexible program personalized to your child
• Self-paced curriculum moves at your child’s speed
• Outstanding support from local teachers, including regular face-to-face, e-mail and phone contact
• Supplemental materials and resources
• Community-based enrichment opportunities that extend learning beyond the typical school-day schedule
