Dr. Luke Neff Resigns
Dr. Luke Neff, Director of Instructional Technology and Strategic Partnerships, has resigned from Newberg Public Schools to become the Director of Informational Technology for McMinnville School District. He will begin his new role in February.
Over the last eleven years, Dr. Neff served the district as a middle school teacher, high school teacher, high school librarian, IT Director, and Director of Strategic Partnerships. As IT Director, he led one of the first full one-to-one technology rollouts in the state and helped the district navigate a shift to online learning during the COVID pandemic. In his strategic partnerships role, he wrote numerous grants for the district and brought in over a million dollars in outside funding, bringing tremendous resources to each school for the benefit of our students. He leaves Newberg School District as the longest serving member of the Superintendent Cabinet.

El Dr. Luke Neff, Director de Tecnología Instruccional y Asociaciones Estratégicas, renunció a las Escuelas Públicas de Newberg para convertirse en el Director de Tecnología Informática del Distrito Escolar de McMinnville. Comenzará su nuevo cargo en febrero.
Durante los últimos once años, el Dr. Neff sirvió al distrito como maestro de escuela intermedia, maestro de escuela secundaria, bibliotecario de escuela secundaria, director de TI y director de asociaciones estratégicas. Como director de TI, lideró uno de los primeros despliegues de tecnología uno a uno completos en el estado y ayudó al distrito a navegar un cambio hacia el aprendizaje en línea durante la pandemia de COVID. En su función de asociaciones estratégicas, redactó numerosas subvenciones para el distrito y aportó más de un millón de dólares en fondos externos, aportando tremendos recursos a cada escuela para el beneficio de nuestros estudiantes. Deja el Distrito Escolar de Newberg como el miembro más antiguo del Gabinete del Superintendente.
