Ewing Young Principal Made Full Time for 2019-2020
Recognizing the need for solid administrative leadership at Ewing Young Elementary School, Superintendent Dr. Joe Morelock has restored Brian Wood’s role to full time Principal for the 2019-2020 school year . Last year, due to budget cuts, the role was reduced to partial Principal and partial Lead Teacher. This return to full time includes adding some district-wide administrative responsibilities and gives Ewing Young the administrative leadership it needs.
Wood is finishing his first year at Ewing Young, after serving many years in Newberg Public Schools. “Brian has done a great job for us this year,” said Dr. Morelock. “This gives Ewing Young the leadership they need, and also releases Brian to support TAG and STEM/STEAM educational improvement throughout the district.”
