Free camp prepares K-1 students to learn
Newberg School District is offering a kindergarten and first grade "Jump Start Camp" to make sure that students are well prepared for school prior to the school starting. The camps will provide students a chance to learn school routines such as walking in a line, sitting at a table, sitting at group time, bus and recess routines in small group settings. Classrooms will also provide instruction in literacy, math and socialization.
Important details:
When: August 19th-22nd
Times: 8:30-11:00
Where: Dundee, Edwards, Joan Austin and Mabel Rush elementary schools
Who is eligible: Kindergarten and first grade students enrolled at Dundee, Edwards, Joan Austin and Mabel Rush elementary schools only
Transportation: Families are responsible for transportation. School District transportation is not available.
Enrollment will be based on a first come first serve basis and space is limited. To enroll your student, please contact:
