Sixty George Fox University students and faculty spent the university Serve Day in Newberg elementary school classrooms conducting skill assessments with 350 kindergarten students. The GFU students enrolled in the elementary education program performed the state-mandated assessments of math and literacy skills - recognizing letters, letter sounds, numbers, order of numbers and amounts.
