Nicole Hyatt, Student Services Coordinator for the district, has announced her resignation to become the Assistant Director of Student Services for the West Linn Wilsonville School District.  Her new position starts July 1.  A teacher and administrator in the district for 31 years, Mrs. Hyatt is looking forward to the challenge of a new position and to learning more about implementing effective inclusive practices. 

"I am sad to leave Newberg after so many years, and I consider it an honor and a privilege to have served the students and families of this community for so long.  There is incredible work happening here in Newberg and I know it will continue long after I am gone."

Nicole Hyatt, Coordinadora de Servicios Estudiantiles del distrito, ha anunciado su renuncia para convertirse en la Directora Asistente de Servicios Estudiantiles del Distrito Escolar de West Linn Wilsonville.  Su nuevo puesto comienza el 1 de julio.  La Sra. Hyatt, que ha sido profesora y administradora del distrito durante 31 años, está deseando afrontar el reto de un nuevo puesto y aprender más sobre la aplicación de prácticas inclusivas eficaces.

"Me entristece dejar Newberg después de tantos años, y considero un honor y un privilegio haber servido a los estudiantes y a las familias de esta comunidad durante tanto tiempo.  Hay un trabajo increíble aquí en Newberg y sé que continuará mucho tiempo después de que me haya ido."
