Kindergarten Jump Start / Buen inicio al Kínder

Kindergarten Jump Start is a week­ long learning experience to help incoming kindergarten students and their parents be ready to start school. This program is free and open to all incoming students who are registered for kindergarten at a any Newberg Elementary School.

The program will be offered on August 19­- 22, M-TH, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Jump Start helps familiarize children with their new school, kindergarten teachers and classmates. Participants will follow an abbreviated daily schedule before school starts in September. Children will also participate in typical kindergarten classroom activities, tour the school campus and experience outdoor play just like they will at recess.
