Do you know a future kindergartner who will be five by September 1, 2016?  

All Newberg, Dundee and Yamhill County elementary schools are opening their doors to entering kindergarten students and their parents at a registration event on Thursday, April 21, 2016. 

This is an ideal opportunity to meet teachers, visit the school and ask questions. You will have the opportunity to speak with a representative from First Student regarding transportation and pick up information regarding before and after school CARE.

Schools will  be accepting applications for regular and optional Kindergarten programs at this time.

This year parents may enroll their child in ANY Yamhill County elementary school for kindergarten. If you work out of town or are unsure which school your child will be attending, you may go to any elementary school tp register your child for Kindergarten. The enrollment information will be sent to the school they will attend.

Time:  3:30 pm - 6:00 pm

Where:  All Newberg School District AND Yamhill County elementary schools

If you plan on enrolling your child in kindergarten at this time, please bring:

• Birth Certificate
• Child’s immunization record

Children must be five years old by September 1 to enroll in kindergarten.

If you are unable to attend, please contact your neighborhood school to complete the registration process. We strongly encourage parents pre-register their kindergarten age children prior to the end of this academic year for a smooth transition.
