New digital devices advance learning
Learning with technology takes a major step forward as every elementary student will be able to access a digital device to use as part of their classroom learning. Kindergarten, first and second grade students will be using iPads, while third through fifth grade students will use Chromebooks to create, collaborate, communicate and think critically. Middle and high school students will continue to have access to Chromebooks throughout the year. Specific secondary programs are piloting the instructional use of one-to-one Chromebooks. Look for details in the NSD Technology Responsible Use information coming home from the classroom.
