The Newberg School Board of Directors awarded a $155,811 contract for finance information systems to the Northwest Regional Education Service District (ESD) and CSA/Windsor Management Group at the October 11, 2011 school board meeting. Newberg expects the new Infinite Visions finance information system to be online in January 2012, replacing the current system the district purchases through the Willamette ESD. Estimated cost of the new system is $5.49 per student per year. This compares to $9 per student the district is currently paying, according to Nate Roedel, district Director of Finance and Operations.
