New graduation tradition off to a rousing start!
Student leaders at Newberg High School organized what they hope will be a new tradition at Newberg High School – walking the halls of their former elementary and middle schools in their caps and gowns the day before graduation.
Approximately 350 students boarded buses after the traditional senior breakfast on Thursday to visit either Mountain View, Mabel Rush, Edwards and Joan Austin schools or Chehalem Valley, Dundee, Ewing Young and Antonia Crater schools. Elementary and middle school students lined the halls to cheer, high five and celebrate the graduates. There was nothing quiet about the celebration! Thank you to Jenni Carmon Photography for images from the Chehalem Valley Middle School walk through.
