New State Guidelines for Fall

Today Governor Brown, the Oregon Department of Education (ODE), and the Oregon State Activities Association (OSAA) made announcements that affect schools for the fall.

First, all children age five and up will be required to wear masks. This is a change from the first guidance, which recommended (not required) masks for ages 12 and up. We are working to adjust our reopening blueprints accordingly, and will do our best to release them on Friday. You can read the entire guidance here.

Second, athletics and activities will look different this fall. OSAA has delayed some sports, and full contact sports like football are on an unknown timeline at this point. You can read the press release here.
