Information at your fingertips and connections between all 13 Newberg schools and the district are just some of the improvements in a new school district website launched October 1st. Changes include:

• Powerful search engine that reaches into all 13 micro-websites to find the information you’re seeking
• A resource center features forms and documents an easy-to-find searchable location.
• Hot links to job announcements and school closures or delays
• A district-wide calendar of events that can be easily viewed by school or multiple schools simultaneously
• Calendar of non-school community events targeted to students and families.
• A Spanish-language website

The district worked with Aha Consulting, the leading provider of open-source government websites. Aha, a Lake Oswego company designed and developed the Newberg site using Drupal, an open source content management system (CMS). Aha has worked with schools, universities, libraries, cities (including the City of Newberg), counties, and other government agencies and educational institutions throughout the United States.
