Newberg Public Schools will offer free full-day kindergarten at all elementary schools beginning September 2015. Kindergarten classes will be on the same schedule as grades one through five.

The district will still offer half-day kindergarten and bilingual program options for students. Depending on demand for the half-day and bilingual options, the district may fill classes using a lottery system.

The annual kindergarten enrollment will take place the on March 12, 2015. Any child who will be five years old on or before September 1, 2015, is eligible to enroll in kindergarten at their neighborhood school. Parents/guardians will need to provide a birth certificate and immunization record at the time of enrollment.
