Petrie takes Principal position in Tigard-Tualatin
After eight years of exceptional service as an administrator in Newberg Public Schools, Casey Petrie has resigned her position as Principal of Chehalem Valley Middle School, effective at the end of this school year. Petrie will become the principal of Alberta Rider Elementary School in the Tigard-Tualatin School District.
“I have deeply enjoyed my time in the Newberg School district and at Chehalem Valley Middle School,” said Petrie. “I am sad to be leaving my staff, students, families and communities behind but know the amazing work being done in our classrooms each day will continue. Our goal has been to make CVMS a school where everyone feels safe, welcome and valued. I believe in this vision and will do everything I can to help ensure this work continues with new leadership.”

Después de ocho años de servicio excepcional como administradora en las Escuelas Públicas de Newberg, Casey Petrie renunció a su puesto como Directora de la Escuela Intermedia Chehalem Valley, a partir del final de este año escolar.
