School district teachers who retired in June will lead Newberg’s Old Fashioned Festival Parade as Grand Marshals this Saturday. According to organizers, the parade is one of the larger parades in Oregon with more than 100 entries (Grand Marshals are 7th). Stake out your place along the parade route this Saturday, July 30th, and give a cheer to our Grand Marshall retiring educators Stan Brown, Jan Bortnem, Carol Purcell, Kevin Purcell, Ken Clark, Mary Lou Gouger, Judy Elliott, Rita Daugherty, Joanne Casey, Katrina Williams, Claudia Kroese, Jackie Nissen, Dwight Zirschky and Lesley Carsley.
