Five (5) positions on the Newberg School Board will appear on the May 16, 2023, election ballot. The filing period with the Yamhill County Clerk is February 4 through March 16, 2023. Candidate statements for the voter's pamphlet are due March 20, 2023.

School Board members are elected to a four-year term. School board members serve in a volunteer capacity.  Candidates must be registered voters, have lived in the district for one year immediately preceding the election and live in the board zone they are running for.
Newberg School District Board positions on the May 16, 2023 ballot are:

FOUR YEAR TERM:

• Zone 2 
• Zone 3
• Zone 6 
• Zone 7 

TWO YEAR TERM:

• Zone 4
