The Newberg School Board agreed to open enrollment to non-resident students but established certain limitations. This action paves the way for permanent inter-district transfers that do not require an annual review.
Schools open to non-resident transfer students include:

• Grades 9 and 10 at Newberg High School
• Grades 6 – 8 at all middle schools
• Grades K-5 at all elementary schools except Mabel Rush Elementary School (enrollment at capacity)
• Grades 1-8 in Chehalem Online Learning Alliance living in Yamhill, Washington or Marion Counties

Applications for open-enrollment transfers must be made between February 15 – March 30, 2012. Forms are online at the link below.
