School safety update

Newberg schools are working with a  security consultant  to  identify safety risks at each school and develop plans to mitigate those risks. Sean Spellecy of New Dawn Security told school board members that  there are no high risks at any of the district's 10 schools. Spellecy is working with a safety committee to enhance and increase safety across the district.
