Each year, purchasing school supplies is a sign of hope for the new school year. We’ve recognized that in the middle of that joy is a lot of stress for some families, wondering how they will be able to afford what is needed for their student, let alone the supplies schools have traditionally asked people to bring to share with the class.

We want to help every single student have everything they need for school this year! As a district, we did the hard work in the budgeting process so that we will provide basic school supplies for every student in our elementary schools this year. (There may be a few unique things you need to purchase for your student’s particular class, but we’ve tried to cover the basics.) We are excited to have families and students focus on learning as we return to in-person learning!

The list of supplies we will provide are attached, separated by grade. We look forward to working with you to educate your student this year!

Cada año, la compra de útiles escolares es una señal de esperanza para el nuevo año escolar. Hemos reconocido que en medio de esa alegría hay mucho estrés para algunas familias, preguntándose cómo podrán pagar lo que necesitan sus estudiantes, y mucho menos los útiles que las escuelas tradicionalmente les han pedido a los estudiantes que traigan para compartir con la clase.

¡Queremos ayudar a cada estudiante a tener todo lo que necesita para la escuela este año! Como distrito, hicimos el trabajo difícil en el proceso del presupuesto para que este año proporcionemos útiles escolares básicos para cada estudiante en nuestras escuelas primarias. (Puede haber algunas cosas únicas que necesite comprar para la clase de su estudiante, pero hemos tratado de cubrir lo básico.) ¡Estamos emocionados de que las familias y los estudiantes se concentren en el aprendizaje mientras regresamos al aprendizaje en persona!
