Ballots for the May 17, 2011 election are out and voters are encouraged to get their ballots in. Five school board director positions are on the ballot plus Measure 36-147, a bond measure to repair facilities, purchase textbooks and technology.

All Newberg Public Schools are collecting ballots that will be deposited in Official Ballot Drop Boxes daily through May 17, 2011.    ORS 260.695 (15) (a and b) permits schools to act as unofficial collection sites if they are clearly marked.

Ballots may be mailed by May 12th or dropped off at any public schools or one of these local or any state “Official Ballot Drop Box”
