A publication on the history of  Central Elementary School, now the Chehalem Cultural Center, is in the works. Author Barbara Doyle is looking for stories about Central school, teachers and classmates from 1935 to 1995. Doyle is seeking stories about teachers, student or school activities, principals, sports and special community programs such as the Farmerroo. Information  should focus on human interest, laughable stories and recollections.
