Students explore GIS mapping in Career & Technical Ed camp
Newberg middle school students got a taste for GIS mapping with Emina Sulych, GIS analyst with the City of Newberg. The 20 students are participating in an after school camp on coding taught by Newberg High School math teacher Erin Mahoney. The camp is the latest in a series of after-school camps exploring career and technical education opportunities and is funded through a $479,000 CTE grant to the Newberg School District.
