Cass Thonstad has announced her resignation from Newberg School District to become Principal of Alternative Education and Innovative Programs at Central Medford High School. She will finish the year here in Newberg. Ms. Thonstad has served in this district for 12 years as a teacher and administrator, most recently as Administrator on Special Assignment working with Chehalem Online Academy (COA), Catalyst High School, and with district wide data assessment. 

"I am grateful for the time I have shared in Newberg to support students, staff, and our community, focusing on serving each student and breaking down barriers for those most underserved,” said Ms. Thonstad. “Next year, I am looking forward to continuing this work in Medford and becoming a part of a new community."

Cassandra Thonstad ha anunciado su renuncia del Distrito Escolar de Newberg para convertirse en Directora de Educación Alternativa y Programas Innovadores en la Escuela Preparatoria Central Medford, en Medford, Oregon. Ella planea terminar el año aquí en Newberg. La Sra. Thonstad se ha desempeñado en este distrito durante 12 años como maestra y administradora, más recientemente como administradora en asignación especial trabajando con Chehalem Online Academy (COA), Catalyst High School y con la evaluación de datos de todo el distrito.
