Drama
Newberg High School offers students courses in drama, acting and stagecraft in excellent theater facilities built in 2006. Courses introduce students to the basics of acting, theater history and technical theater for those who want to continue in theater classes and school productions and for those who want to try it for fun. More serious students can develop technical, acting technique, and audition skills in advanced classes. Stage movement courses provide a physical preparation for theater students.
Newberg High School drama students stage four plays during each school year including a Musical, Winter Play, Shakespeare and the annual Tournament of One-Act Plays.
