The Newberg School District's Crystal Apple Award recognizes outstanding service. This annual award is presented in June to a deserving teacher, support staff member and administrator. Students, parents, community members and school district employees are encouraged to nominate Newberg School District employees for the annual Crystal Apple Award.

To nominate a staff member for a Crystal Apple Award
Nominees must be employed by the school district in a full or part time position, and must have worked for the district for at least three years. Award categories

• elementary teacher
• middle school teacher
• high school teacher
• instructional support
• classified or confidential staff

Nominations are due on Friday, May 25, 2012.  Nomination forms are available in each school building or online. 
Complete the cover sheet and on a single 81/2 by 11 sheet of paper, explain:

• How the nominee contributes to the goals of the Newberg School District.
• How does the nominee impact students, their school or the school district?
