School Board Zones
Newberg School Board members are elected from seven geographical areas, or zones, to provide equal representation throughout the school district. However, all elected Board members represent the entire school district, not their zone.
School Board zones were modified in September 2011 to rebalance the population within each zone using 2010 census data as required by the Secretary of State. Legal descriptions of each zone will be posted as soon as they are rewritten. The map below represents the new zones adopted in September 2011.
