How to enroll in Kindergarten
Students attend the Newberg-Dundee Public Schools elementary school that serves their residence. Normally, parents would visit their neighborhood school for registration materials and information. However, over the summer they will need to bring registration materials to the District Office (714 E. Sixth Street in Newberg) because school offices are now closed until August 14.
To enroll, please bring:
- Proof of birth (birth or hospital certificate)
- Child’s immunization record
Children must be five years old by September 1 to enroll in kindergarten. Children whose fifth birthday is on or between September 2 to October 15 may be considered for admission to kindergarten. The deadline for early admission has passed. Please contact Director of Special Education Anthony Buckner with questions about early admission.
