The Office of Teaching and Learning strives to provide a rigorous curriculum for all Newberg Public Schools students. This department supports educators in continuous improvement of their skills and knowledge and provides teachers with resources for a quality education. The Office of Teaching and Learning is responsible for:

• Aligning curriculum with state and national standards
• Instruction materials adoption
• Professional development
• District Continuous Improvement Plan
• Title programs
• Multi-Tiered Intervention Process (MTI)
• Early entrance

The Office of Teaching and Learning overseas the Teaching and Learning Council, Teachers on Special Assignment and the Talented and Gifted Program.
