Migrant education is a federal program that provides funds to help state and local educational agencies remove barriers to the school enrollment, attendance and achievement of migrant students.

Newberg High School has a long tradition of excellent music programs. Students from all small schools may choose to participate in band, orchestra or choir.

Research shows that young people who are involved in school are more likely to be successful academically and become productive citizens in society.

The Partner in Education Award is presented to a businesses, individual or organization in recognition of exceptional contributions to the Newberg School District. The annual award is presented at the Chehalem Valley Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet.

The Horticulture/Greenhouse Classes have been involved in many beautification and education projects right on campus of Newberg High School.

The 2023 Summer Food Service Program is beginning soon, offering free meals to children. Read on for dates, on-site rules, and eligibility. 

The program will be offered from June 26 to Aug 18 from Monday to Friday. Meals will not be served on July 3 or July 4 because of the Fourth of July holiday.

Newberg Public Schools welcomes volunteers of all ages. Teaching experience or professional experience is not required.
