Greenhouse Donor Sign

Our Horticulture Program has connections within our community and the surrounding area with public agencies, volunteers and private companies. These working relationships provide opportunities for students to experience the many different aspects of horticulture including internships and work opportunities.  Volunteers from the community are essential to the program and through cooperation we are working to make our city a more beautiful place to live and give the students a well rounded horticultural education.

Each year the Horticulture Program receives donations from various agencies, individuals and groups. Although none of the donating entities have asked or even expressed any interest in being acknowledged we would like to thank them in a small way by acknowledging them here.  Many of the donations come in the form of volunteer hours or in kind donations. The Yamhill County Master Gardeners donate at least 2000 hours per year to the program. They help with instruction of students, labor on all kinds of projects, help in the design and planning of everything from gardens to hanging baskets. They have been an invaluable part of the Horticulture Program.

NHS Greenhouse thanks all of its community supporters who have donated to our program through monetary or material donations and/or volunteer hours.  We would encourage you to let any of these individuals or businesses know that you appreciate their giving.
